Description

As promised I would provide you with a hotdog recipe that you could (should!) eat for breakfast: Breakfast Dog With Poached Egg & Bacon. It’s yummy! Of course the recipe includes bacon. How would the eggs feel without the bacon? To finish it off I made my own mustard mayonaise and topped it with some fresh chives.

Directions

1
Bring a pan of water up to a simmer and boil the hotdogs for about 5 minutes.
2
When the hotdogs are ready, take them out of the water, pat them dry and place them on a grill or in a pan.
3
Cook the dogs until browned for about 5 to 8 minutes, turning a few times.
4
In the meantime, cut the buns open and lightly grill them as well.
5
Preheat a frying pan and add the prepared chili con carne.
6
Cook the chili con carne for about 4 minutes.
7
When the hotdogs are browned, place them in the buns and add the chili con carne on top.
8
Top it with sweet chili sauce and sour cream.
9
Complete it with some sprigs of cilantro on top.
